GAME ABATTOIRS AND MEAT ESTABLISHMENTS OF SOUTH AFRICA
Game Curry

Ingredients:
​
1 Kg game goulash
Salt and Pepper
2 x bananas
The juice of half a lime
Cream
4 peeled pureed tomatoes
250 ml Stock
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
11/2 Dessert spoons curry powder
2 x Dessert spoons demerara sugar
​METHOD

First soften the finely chopped onion and garlic in some oil

Add the curry, sugar, salt and pepper, Add the stock while stirring continuously

Then the meat can be cooked. Once sealed add to the stock mixture.

Simmer for 20 minutes and then add the mashed bananas, the tomato puree and the lime juice
-
Allow to simmer gently.

After about 30 minutes finish with a little cream.
